The Vancouverentrepreneur.ca Podcast Launches And Prepares To Interview More British Columbia’s Entrepreneurs
Posted on December 26th 2016
It has been a long time in the planning process but Vancouverentrepreneur.ca has launched and so has the podcast. Already there are 6 podcast listed on iTunes and more have been scheduled. The host and owner Robert Szmigiel has designed and implemented everything about the company and podcast. From coming up with the name, designing the logo, writing the scripts, questions, web site design, mobile app and even played drums on the signature song.
To date the entrepreneurs who have been interviewed include: Rod Janz from Fuel Radio, Michelle Abraham at MWorkLab, Mark Huber a marketing strategist, Peter Kauhausen from Hey Hey Lighten Up Fitness Podcast and Richard Blank from Costa Rica’s Call Centers. The initial concept was to start with just a podcast, and now has turned into a web site and mobile app. Now it has expanded into offering marketing communications packages for new businesses of all sizes.
Vancouver Entrepreneur is the brain child of Robert Szmigiel who also owns Adco Advertising and has worked internationally for companies all over the world as a marketing manager. Now he has returned to his hometown of Vancouver and found out that there are more entrepreneurs in Vancouver per capita than any other city in North America. That means there are lots of people to talk too and help them promote themselves and their businesses on a platform that showcases their true entrepreneurial spirit and how it all began.
Many people start businesses here in Vancouver and lots of companies relocate here to one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Robert felt there was an opportunity to create a podcast that interviews local entrepreneurs as he noticed that it just wasn’t the high tech companies that were making a dent in the local business community but that everything from courier services, food, transportation and more types of companies are sprouting out all over the Lower Mainland.
Robert plans to expand the format into other Canadian cities and localize each podcast right across the country with Calgary and Edmonton being the next cities on the list. Right now Alberta has changed their government to the NDP and is currently in recession, so there is no better time to launch a podcast that showcases the very entrepreneurs that will bring the province back around to prosperity. Next on his expansion plans will be Saskatchewan, Manitoba and right on through to Ontario. Stay tuned and keep listening this podcast is heading right across Canada.Contact Us
