1) At Sidebuy
At Sidebuy, they provide bloggers and retailers with a platform to facilitate the influencer marketing process. That means retailers can create custom campaigns to leverage on bloggers’ influence. With smart analytics, retailers can measure the impact & reach of their campaigns. Bloggers, on the other hand, can monetize their social influence, and get paid for what they love to do. It’s a win-win.
Jane is a mobile/office booking app for healthcare professionals. It has been designed to work great for solo practioners, single-discipline clinics, and multi-disciplinary/integrated clinics.
Electra Meccanica’s SOLO is an all-electric, single passenger, three-wheeled commuter vehicle. It’s HQ is Vancouver, being made in New Westminster, has a range of 160km, top speed of 130km, goes 0 to 60 in 8 seconds and costs under $20,000. With the government subsidy on electric cars, it will cost you $14,000.
A twist on this idea is the Veemo, ride-sharing transportation. This little machine is a human-powered, electric/solar-assist enclosed 3 wheeler fully networked for ease of sharing, very inexpensive and since it is considered a bicycle doesn’t require a driver’s license. They’ve created this with help from the National Research Council.
I don’t know about you but I have been a strong opponent of anything GMO especially pesiticides and grains developed by Monsanto. Monsanto was recently bought up by Bayer (the aspirin people). So now you can get sick from the pesticides and Byer will fix you up. Imagine my surprise when a Vancouver Island business entered the pesticide business. Stem-Shock is a programmable herbicide that was developed to tackle the urgent need for a safe and effective way to remove Scotch Broom – one of many invasive weed plants growing on Vancouver Island. All the best to these guys getting it right!
Summer is halfway done but weddings are in full swing. If you are planning one in the future this is the website to go to. Weddingful’s mission is to connect you with your best wedding vendors and their information, in the most efficient and convenient way possible.
Contributing to Vancouver’s goal of being the world’s greenest city by 2020, Recycle-Now! provides tailored recycling and education services to clients in Vancouver. The company deals with clients in the restaurant, hotel and construction industries, to name a few, and offers services including cardboard and e-waste removal, recycling, and a bottle refund program.
I found this little gem looking for a company to repair my Mustang’s Convertible roof. Fibrenew Kelowna specializes in the repair, restoration and renewal of leather, plastics, vinyl, fabric, and upholstery servicing six major markets: automotive, aviation, commercial, medical, marine and residential. Too bad for me that they are in Kelowna but I’ll keep looking.
